We are working on the construction of an industrial Decontamination laundry meant for our French customers but not specifically. Customers from the south of Germany, Switzerland and Belgium will also benefit from this new plant.
This project will also include an intermediary storage zone for containers, as well as a work zone dedicated to our TMD activities: rad control for scaffolding, container inventory, and lead blanket renovation.
The centre will be built on land of 19 000 sqm situated in the Haute Marne area (south of the Champagne region). We chose this site for several reasons:
- The proximity and variety of logistic accesses which present interesting prospects in term of sustainable development.
- The Haute-Marne department proposes specific nuclear training. The training will allow the recruitment of qualified personnel necessary to run the plant and to provide continuing training.
- The proximity of the storage sites in the Aube department of ANDRA in Soulaines-Dhuys (40 km away) and of Moronvilliers (50 km away) will contribute to the optimization of logistic flows.
