A covering hood with high chemical resistance and eye protection to EN 166 combined with head protection to EN397 from a helmet (without a visor) which when used with the X-Plore 8000 system provide respiratory protection to EN 12941 class TH3. Suitable for use in highly polluted or heavily contaminated environments.

- High chemical resistance: The T4 hood provides a higher chemical resistance as it is made with Tychem® 4000 a reinforced fabric that is rugged and durable to resist abrasion and the hood is further strengthened with welded seams.
- Optimal comfort as padding on the forehead and head provides even weight distribution.
- Individual configuration options, the wearer can adjust the head strap and the direction of the breathing air in the forehead area to suit their head shape and size.
- Simplified cleaning process as the hood protects the high-value head protection from becoming contaminated and reduces the cleaning required. Alternatively contaminated hoods can be replaced after use to simplify the process further.
